BC Liquor Stores App Reviews

Twice I went to a store that showed over 12 bottles of our fav wine and twice the product was not even on the shelf

For all of the negative reviews, just remind yourself that BCLC is a government-run liquor distributor and retailer, staffed with overpaid and entitled unionized staff. All of a sudden, this apps limitations become painfully clear.

Would love to be able to login to save my info.

Very useful. Used it for years on old iPod Touch and now on iPhone 6. Can check stock availability and store hours easily. Can add products to My Favourites and create new lists too.

I use this as a way of seeing if something is "listed" or simply available in a govt store or if I have to search out independent shops for product. And shop hours. Thats it. The inventory listing are super inaccurate and need to be reworked or removed altogether. Theres little point offering in-store quantities if no one using the app can trust them. The filter section in searching for products is nearly unusable on my 6+; lots of screen space but words are cut off with ... when they easily could have fit. Theres very little in product knowledge either. Most items are blank or you simply have to know the product already. The ability to save a product to a list is nice. It reminds me of wines Ive tried in the past. However, the app could go so much further than this by offering suggestions based on purchases and possibly notifications if a favorite product which has been sold out becomes available again. The product reviews are useless. Theres nothing I hate more than populist Yelp-style reviews of products. Maybe list things by how popular they are and also critics reviews, much more useful and informative than anonymous reviews. Thats all I can think of for now. Its time for a whisky.

This app has been useless since the update. NEVER loads past the loading screen even tho Ive tried opening and closing the app, deleting & re-downloading multiple times, and even downloading it on 3 different devices;(iPod touch, iPhone 4, & iPhone 5c)

Love that it gives the inventory at local stores. Real time saver. ++good recipes

This is an amazing app. Not only will it find you a store, but it gets pricing and reviews.

Altogether well put together. I love the ability to scan products into my cellar.

Now that I have this app I can finally properly budget my raging alcoholism and meals. Finally I can figure out how many boxes of Mac and cheese I should buy before leaving my house!
